Expressing a fundamental belief
We strongly believe complex and non-mechanical competencies such as change and transition management can only be learned through a sound action-learning methodology. The experiences that led to this strong opinion are discussed in our story.
Therefore, we wanted a name that could embody this fundamental belief.
In addition. the name had to capture the essence of our business – i.e. organizational change.
Our flagship ROLLING OUT COMPLEX CHANGE INITIATIVES program provided the inspiration. It allows organizations to develop real change management experts while executing their business plans. Indeed, thanks to our Learn-and-Execute® methodology, the participants learn how to master organizational change while working on implementing critical change initiatives.
During a brainstorming session to develop our identity, one of our team members jumped out of his chair, walked to the white board and wrote in large, block letters: "OR-CHAN-GO". He explained:
"With ORCHANGO, participants learn how to master organizational change as they go."
That was it, we had our name (pronounced [awr-cheyn-goh]).
